To reserve a place on a TE tour, a deposit of $100 per person is required. The deposit becomes non-refundable after 30 days unless an airline or cruise operator makes the deposit non-refundable immediately.

Cancellation of Land Tours: There will be a full refund less the $100 deposit prior to 71 days. (Airline, rail and cruise terms may vary. We are subject to the terms of our suppliers)

If you think that there might be a reason to cancel you should consider insurance.

Air rail, or cruise cancellation:

The TE is subject to the terms and conditions of the various transportation suppliers. We use non-refundable group tickets to obtain the lowest price. Once tickets are issued they are usually non refundable or require a change fee. Tickets are usually issued 45 days prior to departure. (This may vary subject to the transportation supplier's terms)

Final payments and late charges:

All TE tours must be paid by the due dates. A $40 late fee will be assessed if the payment is not received on time. Your reservation is subject to cancellation if we do not receive full payment by 65 days before departure. There is A $40 charge for checks returned to us.

Currency and tax increases:

If the value of the dollar decreases it might be necessary to make adjustments to the actual tour price. The same must be true for any increases in taxes or fees. We will notify you if any change is necessary and the monies will be due with the last payment. We hope as always that there will be no increases.

Because the TE does not maintain any control over the personnel, equipment, or operations of these suppliers, TE assumes no responsibility for and cannot be held liable for any personal injury, death, property damage, or other loss accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason (1) any wrongful, negligent, willful, or unauthorized acts or admissions on the part of any of the tour suppliers, or other employees or agents, (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, instrument owned, operated or otherwise by any of these suppliers, or (3) any wrongful, willful, or negligent act or omissions on any part of any other party not under the supervision or control of the Operator.

The TE acts only as an agent for various independent suppliers that provide hotel accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, activities connected with this tour. Such services are subject to the terms and conditions of those suppliers.

The TE accepts no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or expenses due to sickness, weather strikes, hostilities, wars, terrorist acts, or other acts of God.

All services and accommodations are subject to the laws and regulations of the country in which they are provided. The TE is not responsible for any baggage or personal effects of any individual participating in the tours/trips arranged by the TE. Individual travelers are responsible for purchasing a travel insurance policy, if desired, that will cover some of the expenses associated with the loss of luggage or personal effects.

A final note:

The TE will always try to get the maximum refund possible. We are working for our club members not our suppliers. (As stated above we are subject to the terms and conditions of our suppliers.)
